About the Artist

I am a 16-year-old artist with over 9 years of studio art training. Born and raised in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, I spent my early years immersed in the local arts scene. From 2019 to 2022, I lived in England, an experience that deepened my artistic perspective and broadened my creative horizons. Now back in the U.S. for high school, my travels to eight different countries continue to inspire and shape my work, fueling my passion for art and guiding my creative process.

My passion for visual arts began at the age of 4 when I had a caricature portrait drawn at the Mall of America. That moment sparked my love for art, and I began taking art lessons soon after. Even while living in England during the pandemic, I continued to study under my Minnesota art teacher virtually. Over the years, I've explored a wide range of mediums, including pencil, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, ink, and pastel. For me, art is not just a form of self-expression—it’s a way to connect with others.

I use my artistic skills to create personalized gifts for loved ones, support charitable causes, and give back to my community. I've volunteered as a face painter at cultural fairs, created event flyers, designed apparel graphics for various school clubs, and even served as a courtroom artist for my school's Varsity Mock Trial Team.

As a passionate advocate for fine arts education, I’ve participated in the Minnesota State Fair K-12 Competition since 2017 and have been honored to contribute to exhibits at the Minnesota Department of Education, the U.S. Capitol, a local library, and businesses. Art connects us, and I enjoy helping others discover that spark.
